Meet The Founder and CoFounder

Kennedy, born in Congo-Kinshasa and raised in Rwanda, and Huguette, born in Congo-Kinshasa and raised in Uganda, both experienced the hardships of fleeing their homeland due to war, forcing their families to seek refuge in neighboring countries. After enduring severe poverty and hardship, they navigated the challenging refugee resettlement process before eventually arriving in the United States. With a combination of education, resilience, and determination, they successfully adapted to American society and pursued higher education. United by their faith in God and His purpose, they have seen His guiding presence throughout their journey. The arrival of their beautiful children restored what they had once lost. Understanding the ongoing struggles faced by refugees, God placed a deep desire in their hearts to serve as bridges of blessing to those in need. And so, Hope Bridge International was born. United by a shared vision, they are confident that, through teamwork and collective effort, meaningful change is not only possible but inevitable. Guided by faith, they continue working to create a more compassionate world
